When I first started watching II, I was 22 and on vacation with my family in New Orleans. I immediately fell in love with Paintbrush and was DEVASTATED when they got eliminated. Shortly after that, I started T, and had to officially come out to my family. The FIRST THING my brother did was compare me to Paintbrush. He later asked if I knew I was nonbinary because of them. He somehow missed me changing my name in college as a flag that maybe there was something gender-wise going on...

Paintbrush is my favorite II character!!! I relate really heavily to their struggles with anger. I love that they're canon nonbinary, even though I wish they got to yell at people for misgendering them more often. I think they are so cool and I love them so much
